Working for 16 years as a language teacher has given Chantal the opportunity to engage in the challenge of teaching languages. She experienced the transformative effects of linguistic and cultural immersion when she studied abroad in Strasbourg, London and Guadeloupe.
Felicia I. Lively
Felicia came to the DC area in the early 1980’s. Both a performer and teacher, she has been a music educator of General Vocal music in Montgomery County Public schools for 30 plus years. She studied voice with the late Todd Duncan (Gershwin’s original Porgy in his Opera Porgy and Bess). Her performances include classical recitals, cabaret style shows, operetta, opera and featured as a soloist with local churches and choruses. She received her Doctorate of Musical Arts in education in 2007. In the public schools Dr. Lively has presented opera composed for her students, student created ballad operas, children’s musical plays and Broadway Jr. productions. Additionally, Dr. Lively has led students in singing the National Anthem before local baseball games for 23 years.
Dr. Lively has maintained a private studio of students for 20 years, teaching both voice and piano. She has also served as music specialist and director of Round House Summer Camp- Takoma Park location.
Denika is a native of the Maryland D.C area. She is a teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools. She was Agnes Meyer runner up in 2006, an award for first year teachers. She attended Suitland High School, the Arts high school of Prince George’s County where her love for music was cultivated. Ms. Mason is a singer and violinist.

Through an internship at the University of Ohio, Felix experienced the power of cultural and linguistic immersion. He has worked on many projects in Guadeloupe, France and the United States. He is passionate about developing and promoting programs that suit the educational and cultural needs and interests of participants.
